Today I have one of my lazy days. I actually wanted to get up at 7.30 but in the end I got up 8.30, because I just turned over in bed an fell asleep again after my alarm had stopped ringing. Then I finished my presentation of a film analysis for tomorrow and sent my part to my cooperation partner. My plans after that were to work on my paper about conflicts in Europe as an engine for the creation of a European publicness, but I was too lazy and rather watched the animation film "Tekkonkinkreet".
I absolutely recommend this film to anyone who likes anime. The story is full of action, but also psychological and philosophical. It's about two orphans Shiro (White) and Kuro (Black) and their life on the streets of Treasure Town. Kuro is like an older brother for Shiro who acts like a little child although he already is eleven years old. But Shiro is not an annoying brat, but rather the innocent counterpart to Kuro and the only one who really understands the pain Kuro feels, because of their life. I think if they were older, I absolutely would read slash about them.
